The conference structure has certain definitions that need to be followed to enable sharing across areas and across systems globally. Without these definitions, people will create structures that would require replicating at different levels of the conference for the same discussion.
An Area is a zone where conferences belong to a common conceptual area. Each area may set up different parameters for membership, etc.

A conference is a focused discussion on one aspect of the area. It should be possible to share conferences across areas.
Two subjects are default in every conference, all others are defined by mods:
Subjects are the specific discussions in a conference. Subjects may be shared across conferences in an area, not across areas.
The messages a sequentially numbered in order written to the file. They may be read in sequence, or by link in depth first. A Tree is started only by a SAY command. Branches are strings of comments to one message.
